Inclement Weather
We will swim in the rain, as long as it is not thundering or lightening. Both our small pool and 25 yard pool are heated to a minimum of 85 degrees. Due to the heated water, we will swim in the rain, or if the temperature drops lower than normal.
Lessons may be cancelled due to inclement weather. Even though this is rare, please check our website or call our office on days where there is excessive rain and/or storms. We will not call or email on days where we cancel, it will only be posted to our website, posted on Facebook, and recorded on our office voice mail. Please call us!

On days when it is raining, or when there is a heat advisory, we bring the students inside our age appropriate movie rooms, instead of having our regular-scheduled field activities and sand box play time.
Our Movie Rooms are divided between age groups: 3 & 4 year olds are grouped together, 5 through 7 year olds are grouped together and 8 through 12 year olds are grouped together.

Do we offer make-up days due to Inclement Weather?
Silton Swim School will not offer 1 make-up day due to weather cancellations. We cannot accommodate make-up days for all students attending our weekly sessions. If we cancel for a 2nd time during your child's two week enrollment, we WILL then offer a make-up day. Please give our office a call if you have any further questions. See policy # 13.
